personal : Hannah's 9th birthday party

Hannah turned 9,  in July last year... so this is very late post. haha It was girl's flower class + cupcake decorating party. Her 10th birthday is already coming up soon so this is def. super late post but didn't want to miss sharing this special day with everyone. Party was hosted in Sophi's flower shop in nj, full of drool worthy antique goods ... I love her taste. ^^ Hannah and all girls had such a happy time learning how to handle + arrange flowers and of course mostly giggling with no particular reasons. haha  By the way,  I'm just realizing and freaking out because Luke's (son) birthday is this Sunday... and I haven't prepared anything at all. Uh oh...

personal : from the walk after hurricane Sandy

[10.30.2012] Hurricane sandy left us in a dark (no power)  for a week along with serious damages in NY/NJ areas. So many people suffered in cold weather, lack of food, heat, gas and help. Through our this hard times, this week actually gave me a chance to think about all the blessings and things to be thankful for, including our family being together and loved.

Our family took little walk in near park where hurricane Sandy left us nothing but a naked/broken branches. It was cold but finding these prettiness and making it into a bouquet for our table was exciting, a practice of finding a name of greatfulness in any situations in our lives.

Let's take a walk. Let's count our blessings today. ^^ ^^

travel : Bukchon Hanok Village, Korea

[09.07.2012] photo story of Bukchon Hanok Village, Seoul Korea. I became a total tourist this day and wonder around this beautiful village and fell in love with Hanok, the Korean traditional style houses. A best cup of tea I had in Korea was on that Maru. ^^

a cup of Omija tea with my aunt. (schizandra berrie tea)
